Information We Collect
- Account information: name and email address, when you create an account
- Location: approximate or precise location, only when you choose to search “near me” — used solely to find nearby restaurants
- Photos: if you choose to add a photo to a review or your profile
- Usage data: app interactions such as restaurants viewed, reviews written, and restaurants saved
How We Use This Information
We use this information to provide core app features — restaurant search, your saved restaurants, and your reviews. We do not sell your personal information.
Third-Party Services
- Google Places API: location queries are sent to Google to find nearby restaurants
- Wextractor: restaurant name and address (no personal data) are used to retrieve public reviews
- Google AdMob: TrustBite displays ads. AdMob may use device identifiers to deliver personalized ads based on your interests. You can opt out via your device’s privacy settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). See policies.google.com/technologies/ads for details.
Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the TrustBite app under Profile → Delete Account. Alternatively, visit our account deletion page or contact info@rfmediaholdings.com.
Children
TrustBite is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
